ULTRAFILTER

Filtered water is a necessity in today’s world of questionable water quality.  Bottled water is expensive, inconvenient, and environmentally unfriendly.  It also doesn’t address the many household uses for water, including, cleaning, sanitizing, food preparation and personal hygiene.  Bottled water simply cannot be relied on for all of our needs.

Why An Ultrafilter?

Why An Ultrafilter?

  • Ultrafiltration is used extensively in food and beverage production, restaurants, dairy industry, pharmaceutical production, biotechnology, medical laboratories and private residencies
  • Ultrafiltration combined with carbon filtration is the cleanest water you can get without reverse osmosis
  • Ultrafiltration addresses household uses for water including, cleaning, sanitizing, cooking, food preparation, drinking, bathing and showering
  • Provides ultra filtered water to every tap in the house with an added carbon filter
  • Uses a .015 micron ultrafilter to filter our turbidity and other particulates such as viruses, bacteria, microorganisms and cysts, while the carbon cartridge filters out chlorine, chloramines and other odor-causing chemicals, all while maintaining healthy water
  • High quality water is dispensed to every faucet in the house
  • Certified NSF/ANSI Standards 42 & 53

The Ultrafiltration Process

The Ultrafiltration Process

Inside the ultrafilter’s pressure vessel is a network of hollow fibers that filters impurities from the water.

Ultrafiltration Process

In filtration, debris is trapped on the inner skin or separating layer, the layer with the smallest openings, thereby preventing debris from being trapped or lodged deep into the capillary wall.

Flushing – A Green Process

A fast flush is accomplished by opening both ends of the filtering cartridge or capillary membranes, and forcing a high velocity of water through the bore, thus flushing the debris to the outlet.  Only one gallon of water is used in a 24-hour period.

  • This process assures continuous, effective cleaning and the longest possible life of the system
  • The set-up is quick, easy and the meter controller is accurate
  • A flush cycle is initiated when a pre-set number of gallons pass through the membrane filter
  • The controller will also sense when water has not been used in a 24-hour period and initiates a brief flush to keep the module performing at its best

The unit’s self-cleaning function extends the life of the cartridge and allows the system to operate with little user intervention
