WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY
Had a great experience with the Brockmire team over the holidays. We woke up one morning in late December to a puddle in our garage from a leaky pipe. Alyssa at the office took my call immediately and scheduled our appt for that day. The plumbers who arrived were courteous, professional and knowledgeable, They remedied our situation quickly. Thank you so much Brockmire Plumbing for being there when we needed you. I’ll definitely use BPS again.
I am just getting around to writing a review of a very large job. Alex and his crew replaced the old cast iron pipes with lining for both bathrooms. He was professional, as was his staff. Very happy with the job they did!
Also an update: I had one of the tubs back up. Alex came out because I thought it was related to their job. It wasn’t, but he explained it clearly, but snaked it at no charge anyway.
I had a drain issue that was driving me crazy. My shower drain operated well but when we showered, a horrible odor would fill the room. We were embarrassed to have people over to our home. I previously hired two other plumbers (not Brockmire) to remedy the problem but they failed miserably. They “snaked” the line, poured bleach into the drain, and even used an acid down the drain but nothing worked. Ultimately, I spent hundreds of dollars without success. Finally, I hired Brockmire for their Rooter-Man service to hydrojet the drain lines. They sent two plumbers, Brian and Jose, and the guys knocked it out of the park. The smell that plagued my bathroom for months is gone! They cleaned my entire drain system from start to finish and repaired a bad sink installation, all within two hours. Their dispatcher, Alyssa, was incredibly helpful and professional. I received text messages that notified me of when they were en route to my home and it included a photo of the plumbers before they arrived. When they got there, they showed up on time, they worked cleanly and dressed professionally. Their service is cheap and I would have saved about $700 if I had started with these guys.
This is maybe the most professional and skilled plumbing company in San Diego County. We have used Brockmire more than thirty times over the last year for plumbing projects from Imperial Beach to Oceanside. They offer tremendous service, a fantastic warranty, and most of all they offer experienced advice.
Alex installed my tub in upstairs bathroom. Small staircase to get it up but did it without any damage to my walls or banister. He was on time polite and did a great job. I will use them again for any plumbing work I might need.
Brian and his office worked with me to get to my house asap. Brian was professional and he did a great job. He helped me keep a small problem small. Good job and good worker. Thank you again Brian. I appreciate your help in this situation. I would use them again.
This company is the real deal. For the initial visit Alex came out and spent a ton of time discussing all things plumbing, checking out my issues, diagnosed and adjusted my water pressure regulator for free, and then finally provided a estimate for a new water heater. He eagerly answered all of my questions (and then some!) and was incredibly friendly and the dude really knows his stuff. The estimate was average with the other estimates I got so we hired them to do the job. Two guys came out and installed the water heater is short order. They were also very cool and pretty entertaining actually. All said and done we got a new water heater and it’s been one month since we got it and everything is working just fine. Job was done quickly, professionally, and the area cleaned after… they’re pros. And just to make note, the water heater was a Bradford White 50 gal. I’m very glad I gave this company my business, and glad I found them because now they’ll be doing all our plumbing for us.
Everything went great. I couldn’t be happier with their service and will use them again in the future. I’ve already referred them to my mom for her plumbing needs.
Original installers of my power vent water heater didn’t connect an exhaust hose properly & Alex Gomez found a small gas leak as well that caused fumes in my garage. He had lots of knowledge that he shared & did a GREAT job!!!
Brian arrived on time and ready to work. He had to remove a garage sink which was in the way in order to complete the work. He installed the above components and the new 50 gal Water Heater including code upgrades. When complete he returned the sink and installed in back where it was and then cleaned up everything and was done. I’m very satisfied with this company and their responsiveness. A job well done. Brian was honest, straightforward and did good work.
On time and was clear on what he was going to do. Recommended on few things and wasn’t pushy.
The plumber was on time, courteous and efficient. He explained what he was doing and then quickly started working. The job was completed.
Brian arrived on time and immediately went to work. He was friendly and explained what the work would entail. He replaced the soldered faucet with a threaded one so I can replace it if needed in the future. He did the requested work and did not try to sell additional work. The service fee was reasonable. Overall, it was a good experience and would use the company again.
Our main sewer line from the house to the street was clogged, causing both toilets and shower to back up. A friend and contractor recommended Brockmire Plumbing Services; we observed their work when he subcontracted them to finish a bathroom renovation, and we had them install a whole-house water filtration system with which we were satisfied. My call to Brockmire Plumbing was promptly answered, and they sent a plumber to our house later the same day. He observed that the house plumbing did not have the clean-outs now required by code, but he was able to employ a clean out he found under the house – which was less than ideal. He managed to get a sewer snake into the pipe and the teeth of the snake were bent when it it a solid obstruction, about 15′ from the house he thought. A camera was employed, but the results were not conclusive, since the pipe could not be cleared of waste, since the snake was prevented by solid blockage. Then he employed a radar-type device that was able to find the location of the obstruction and said that they’d be back tomorrow to cut the concrete at that location, if we agreed to the price that was quoted, which I recall was around $3,000.00. Early the next day, Brockmire Plumbing returned with a concrete saw, and cut away the poured concrete and red brick driveway at that section, dug by hand though soil to the crumbled and deteriorated cast iron sewer pipe. Once the pipe was exposed at that small section, I was offered three options: 1) they would replace just that 2-3 ft section of sewer pipe; 2) they would replace all the cast iron from that location to the City of San Diego clean out; or 3) they would completely replace the pipe from under the house to the City’s clean out, installing three (3) more cleanouts (two of which are directional). We chose #3, and they began work that day, and returned the next day with three employees who worked until the line was finished, and sewer use was restored to our bathrooms. Then they filled the cut section with the dirt that they removed, added more soil from bags to top up the trench, and compacted and leveled the dirt surface. The owner came and directed things on the final day and gave me some suggestions on resurfacing that area of the driveway that remains now unpaved. He left a landscaper’s “waddle” in the trench to prevent erosion from the rain. I appreciate the fast action by Brockmire Plumbing to restore our sewer service. They were punctual, rendered a professional product, and did it in a timely manner. I’m satisfied and would not hesitate to use them again.
I spoke directly with the with the owner, Eric. He explained everything, gave pricing and even emailed pictures Larry, the plumber, and Daniel arrived on time, after calling ahead to say they were on their way. The toilets and other work was done quickly and efficiently. I am very pleased with the whole process. I joined Angie’s List to find a new plumber, and I did!
Fine! prompt, professional, thorough. Would hire again!
Brockmire plumbing came out to my house and did an excellent job replacing the faucet in my bathroom. The technician was on time, respectful, very knowledgeable and a really true professional. They explained everything before they did anything and made me feel more at ease about the problem. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Arrived on time, did an excellent job of installing the whole house water filter. Had to make some adjustments and was easy to work with. Very professional, explained the entire process before beginning work, and cleaned up when job was complete.
